JOB ROLE AND PURPOSE:
Work in Insurance Domain with a focus on organizational deliverables, best practices and client management using various methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Partner products, tools & platforms). Execute & lead projects & solutions for Insurance customers. Design & implement solutions as per business requirements using technologies like OneShield Dragon Designer, Data Modeling, Oracle, PLSQL etc. Responsible for end-to-end application development for PAS, UI, Rating, Forms, Workflow, Integrations, Claims and Billing in OneShield Policy Administration system, correct user policies by writing SQL scripts and update the policy object values in Oracle tables. Develop & monitor asynchronous Jobs, nightly batches & database maintenance jobs. Collaborate with engineers & provide inputs for application architecture diagrams, component diagram & technical specifications for overall solution, involve Data Architects for database model, schemas & indexes optimizations, write transformation rules in dragon designer to transform the same values to DB2 tables. Work with Infrastructure teams for environment setups like database, servers, repositories, monitoring tools etc., as needed for the project planning & execution. Use OneShield best practices to identify defect patterns, core & production defects during OneShield application releases, apply delivery execution approach for successful implementation includes requirement and planning, analysis and design, implementation and quality assurance
REQUIREMENTS:
Master’s degree (or equiv) in Applied CompSci, Engg (Comp/Mech/Electrical), or related field, plus 3 years of experience in position involving similar duties/technical capabilities. Must be willing to relocate and work anywhere in the U.S. No telecommuting.
